Japan's Oshima Shipbuilding has won over 10 newbuilding orders for its newly developed energy efficient 77,000-dwt and 82,000-dwt bulkers.
Most of the newbuildings are due for delivery after 2014.
The state-of-the-art ships cut fuel consumption by 10-15%.
The Japanese shipyard succeeded in winning new bulker orders by developing the world's most energy efficient ship types.
