Till the end of July, totally 113 vessels were verified changing hands at Bafang Shipping Exchange Center, the first time to surpass 100 vessels. Bafang ship exchange center ranks second in the 12 national-recognized ship exchange institutions in regards of ship trading volume.

Officials from Bafang claimed that the rapid growth of the center to take the lead in Chinese ship exchange market fully demonstrated Fujian Province’s role as an important shipbuilding, ship-repairing and ship-trading center.
