Norwegian shipowner Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT) has reportedly finalized a deal to buy a DP2 152,000DWT shuttle tanker to be built by COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard in China.
The purchase price is said to be just under $100m for delivery by September 2014.
The newbuilding is fixed for a long-term charter contract with Repsol Sinopec Brazil for operation offshore Brazil.
