Greece's Load Line Marine, launched just three years ago, is considering a newbuilding order for eco-friendly bulkers.
The company is reportedly mulling an order for two handysize Eco-Design bulkers.
A company official said the newbuildings would be booked at a Chinese shipyard.
Delivery is planned for the first half of 2014.
If the order is materialized, the newbuildings would be built based on Eco Design as an increasing number of charterers want greener ships.
