China's CSSC-affiliated Guangzhou Huangpu Shipbuilding appears to have contracted an order for one platform supply vessel, 'GPA688' with Chilean owner on May 21, 2012.
The 4,500-dwt PSV, 90m in length, 19m in breadth and 7.75m in height, can operate at a cruising speed of 13 knots. After delivery, Petrobras of Brazil will charter the vessel.
The eco-friendly newbuilding consumes less fuels as well as increase cargo capacity.
