China's large private-owned shipyard Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding appears to have signed a contract for building four 64,000 dwt bulkers on June 15.
The newbuilding, 199m in length and 13m in draft, is a low-carbon eco-friendly vessel, which is to be equipped with Wartsila's new engine.
Meanwhile, in April, a compatriot shipyard Jinhai Heavy Industry also contracted for two 64,000 dwt, due to be delivered in 2014. Brokers said that its newbuilding price would be around $26m a piece.
