Taiwan-based Shih Wei Navigation has recently cancelled a newbuilding order for an 84,000dwt bulk carrier which placed at May 21. It is revealed the ship specifications do not meet the needs of Shih Wei.
Besides, Shih Wei announced to cancel the plan of selling MV Giant Pescadores to its subsidiary Dong Lien Maritime in consideration of business performance. The 71,671dwt “Giant Pescadores” is the self-operating ship of Shih Wei.
