South Korea-based Woori Bank has sold four tankers under bankrupt Hanjin Shipping for US$58.6m, aiming at recovering KRW36.8bn (approximately US$30m) of uncollected ship financing debt, according to The Korea Herald. The 8-year-old and 9-year-old ships are the first among the company's 44 vessels to be sold.

Hanjin Shipping filed for court receivership on Aug. 31, 2016.

The four tankers are forecast to be delivered by the end of December.
