Singapore-based BW Group has placed orders to build a pair of VLCCs at Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), Korean local media reports.

The contract for the 318,000 dwt vessels is worth a total of US$179m and delivery is scheduled for 2018.

Currently, BW  has ten vessels contracted at DSME.
