Greek ship manager Thenamaris has received a 158,566dwt Suezmax tanker, the Seavigour, from South Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The Seavigour features a length of 274 meters, a width of 48 meters and a draft of 17.5 meters.
The Malta-flagged tanker, which has a capacity of 170,107 cbm, is part of the company's newbuilding fleet comprised of 11 vessels – two Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), three Suezmaxes, four Aframax product carriers, and two Aframax crude carriers.
In September 2015, Thenamaris increased its newbuilding fleet when it added two more Suezmax tankers of 158,580 dwt.
According to the company's order book, ten vessels ranging from 112,000 dwt to 300,000 dwt are expected to join the company's fleet in the next two years – nine of them in 2017 and one in 2018.
