Norwegian ship owner Ocean Yield ASA has taken delivery of Navig8 Topaz, a 49,000dwt IMO chemical tanker, from South Korean shipyard STX.

This is the sixth ship delivered in a series of eight chemical tankers to be chartered to Navig8 Chemical Tankers under a 15-year "hell and high water" bareboat charter.

In April 2015, Ocean Yield ASA inked a US$306.8m contract to buy eight chemical tanker resales, which included the vessels' 15-year charters to Navig8 Chemical Tankers.
