Japan's Kyokuyo Shipyard has recently delivered an 11,000cbm LPG carrier named Epic Shikoku to owner and operator of pressurized gas carriers Epic Gas.

Epic Shikoku is the third vessel in the company's series of eight newbuilds.

In February 2016, the company also took delivery of a 7,500cbm LPG carrier.

The Singapore-based company's newbuilding program encompasses two 7,500cbm and three 11,000cbm vessels.

The remaining two 7,500cbm vessels, Epic Bonaire and Epic Baluan, are to be delivered from Japan's Sasaki Shipyard in the third and the fourth quarter of 2016, respectively.

Additionally, the delivery of one 11,000 cbm vessel, Epic Samos, from Japan's Kyokuyo Shipyard is expected in the fourth quarter this year.

Finally, the deliveries of two more 11,000cbm vessels, Epic Sardinia, to be delivered under a bareboat charter, and Epic Salina, from the same shipyard are scheduled for the first quarter of 2017.
