Brokers say that Greece-based Eletson Corp has bought two MR1 product tankers from compatriot company Product Shipping and Trading, part of the Oceanbulk group, for US$37m en bloc.

Sisterships Morgane and Meliora Cogito are both 37,600 dwt and were built in Korea in 2006, according to brokers' reports.

The vessels will become the smallest vessels in the Greek shipowner's fleet, which currently consists primarily of LR1 and LR2 product tankers.
