Turkey-based Besiktas Shipping Group has offloaded one of its oldest chemical tankers, the 18,000dwt Ice 1A classed Besiktas Scotland, built 2007, for US$16.3m, according to brokers. Germany's Carl F. Peters has been linked as the buyer.

Neither companies confirmed the sale when contacted by Splash.
