Dalian COSCO Shipbuilding Industry (DACOS) has won an order for three 205,000-dwt capesize bulk carriers.
A Singaporean owner ordered the newbuildings for delivery during March-September 2013.
DACOS is a JV large shipyard between Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) and COSCO.
It started shipyard construction in August 2008.
The new yard also started newbuilding in January last year, covering four ships such as 200,000-dwt bulk carriers and 300,000-dwt ore carriers.
