Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Co (WSIC) announced that it has received orders from Anhui Huaqiang Natural Gas Co to construct three LNG bunkering ships. The total value of the contract has exceeded RMB100m.

As part of Anhui province’s ship conversion plan, the three ships will be deployed on the inland rivers in Anhui to offer bunkering service to ships that have been converted to LNG power.

According to Anhui Huaqiang Natural Gas, it is expected to order another 10 bunkering vessels at WSIC in October this year and plans to order more in the future.
