Japan's Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding's newbuilding delivery for 2013 has been tallied, 18 vessels or 670,000 gt, which is the same number of vessels delivered while 20% decreased in gt terms, under 1m gt for the last two consecutive years.

Tamano works delivered nine vessels or 290,000 gt and Chiba works delivered nine newbuildings of 380,000 gt, which are comprised of 16 bulkers and two others.

Meanwhile, a total of 20 vessels of 630,000gt have been launched, one vessel increased while 29% declined in terms of gt.
