Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, affiliate yard of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), is said to have entered into an agreement to build two further 210,000 dwt bulkers with its long-time partner operator.

Amid industry recession, Bohai Shipbuilding has advanced into a new market through a conversion of management policy this year and reinforced cooperation with its long-time customers.

The 210,000 dwt newbuildings are considered to be another achievement of the yard under this circumstance.

At the same time, the CSIC-affiliated yard keeps moving toward its aim of realizing large production through upgrading design of vessel size and promoting shipbuilding efficiency.
