Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard of China is said to have entered into a newbuilding contract for 1,600 dwt electricity-propelled bunkering tanker with Vermont Shipping Limited in Hong Kong on November 21.

Through the latest contract, Wenchong succeeded in advancing into special ship construction area for the first time.

To be the first environment-protecting vessel even in Hong Kong as well, the bunkering tanker is said to be positively affecting on product restructuring of Wenchong with newly added to the Chinese builder’s product line.
