Hyundai Corporation released a regulatory filing on November 11 that the Korean trading company had decided to provide a guarantee for obligation of its Chinese affiliate, Qingdao Hyundai Shipbuilding.

Debtor is said to be Qingdao Hyundai Shipbuilding while the creditor is Standard Chartered Bank Korea with debt amount worth around KRW 27.6bn ($25.77m).

Debt guarantee is valued at around KRW 28.7bn and the period commences on November 12, 2013, due December 31 of the year.
