CSIC wins nine 64K BCs

China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) is said to have signed a newbuilding contract with Dubai-headquartered Pakistani owner Tomini Shipping.
The contract includes nine ultramax bulkers.
TradeWinds reported that Tomini recently confirmed that the owner booked an order for nine eco-designed 64,000-dwt bulkers at CSIC.
The owner revealed that the delivery will start from mid 2015, on the other hand, it stayed silent regarding newbuilding prices.
Meanwhile, eight ultramax bulkers ordered to China's Zhejiang Yangfan Shipyard from Kiran Holding of Turkey had been contracted in average of $27m apiece.
