Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of New Century Shipbuilding Group, has successfully secured a newbuilding order for the construction of a pair of 64,000dwt bulkers from S.Korean owner Sammok Shipping. The contract includes two optional units and are to be delivered in the first half of 2015.
No information about the contract price is revealed.
It is reported Sammok Shipping has set up a joint venture with a Mongolian partner to enter the area of the mineral resources transportation in Mongolia.
