Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries is exemplarily putting his management philosophies, such as win-win growth, etc., into practice by winning massive orders and giving works at cooperative companies in troubles.
The Korean shipbuilder recently said "We have contracted overall 25 vessels in total of around $1.95bn year-to-date."
Especially, since Ha Gyung-Jin has been newly named as CEO on March 22, 2013, Hyundai Samho successfully inked a total of around $1.5bn.
25 vessels contracted include 11 product carriers, four boxships, four bulkers, four car carriers and two tankers. Besides, Hyundai Samho booked orders for offshore and industrial facilities, such as floating production unit, floating dock, etc.
Aiming overall $4.747bn of new order this year, Hyundai Samho is optimistic to reach the target with several on-going projects.
The shipbuilder decisively started to make an aggressive move this year, since around half of previously scheduled projects went unsettled amid protracted market difficulties, which would endanger Hyundai Samho's revenue as well as financially troubled cooperative companies.
