On May 28th, Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd has successfully knocked off the door of high-tech and high-value-added shipbuilding by winning a newbuilding order for one 400-foot jack-up rig from an European owner. The contract also included another optional unit. This is the first jack-up order for the company.
The rig is scheduled to be delivered by the first half of 2015. The jack-up apply an new popular design and independently-designed core parts and auxiliary equipments.
ZPMC has been active in the development of offshore products and takes jack-up as the key to transfer into the high-end offshore product market.
