China's Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard appears to have signed a newbuilding contract to build three 2,500-teu containerships with NORD of Germany and a US-based shipowner.
The vessel, 195m in length, 32.2m in breadth and 17m in height, will have a design draft of 11.5m.
Wenchong Shipyard sealed its first contract for this year, which would help the company getting closer to its new order target for 2013.
