Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design has signed a 28,000 cu m LNG carrier design and EPC contract with Dalian Inteh Group. The total value of the contract is RMB560m.
According to the company’s announcement, the vessel will be the first medium-small sized LNG carrier to fly the Chinese flag and the vessel is scheduled to be delivered in March of 2015. An official from Bestway told SinoShip News that the vessel will be built at Cosco Dalian Shipyard.
Dalian Inteh Group was established in 1996, its business covers chemical logistics and trade, ship management and finance.
