On January 15th, Wuhan Nanhua Huanggang Jiangbei Shipyard Co., Ltd won a newbuilding contract for the construction of one full-pressurized 4,600CBM ocean-going LPG carrier. The contract also includes an optional unit.
The new-built vessel features 99.90m in length, 10.60m in width, 7.80 in depth, 5.50m in design draft, unrestricted navigation area, Ice Class B and with independent tank.
Jiangbei Shipyard successfully getting the new order in the overall market downturn fully demonstrates the yard’s advantage in LNG carrier construction and its marketing capability.
