Newbuilding MR product tanker prices have risen by almost 10% in just few weeks.
According to Clarksons data, MR newbuilding resale price is now $35m, up 9.4% from $32m just two weeks ago.
DNB Markets reveals the value of an MR newbuilding has remained flat at $34m for around six months.
It says “Newbuild prices have reached a floor and asset prices will respond to rate improvements.”
