Ship-scrapping prices in China slightly rose in November.
China Water Transport said that average scrapping prices of 15,000-25,000ldt tanker, 6,000-10,000ldt product carrier and 7,000-12,000ldt bulkers were $365.78/ldt, $359.98/ldt and $354.73/ldt, which increased by 7.14%, 7.01% and 6.83% on the previous month, respectively.
China purchased a total of 580,000 dwt for demolition and scrapped overall 800,000 dwt last month.
