SPP Shipbuilding and Hyundai Mipo Dockyard are the winners of Scorpio Tankers' additional Eco newbuilding orders.
The tanker owner is to order four MR product carriers at SPP and two at HMD, market sources say.
The fuel-efficient MR PCs, worth around $33m per ship, are scheduled for delivery from the Korean shipyards by the end of 2014.
The contracts seem to include options for eight more newbuildings in total.
