Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd (SHG) has recently sign a newbuilding contract for the construction of 1+1 20,000dwt cement carrier duo with Thai shipowner Precious Shipping.
It is disclosed that the contract value is about $24.18m apiece. The optional unit is estimated to take effect by March 2013. The two vessels are to be delivered by January and April of 2014.
Precious Shipping has cancelled a pair of newbuilding vessels built at Indian ABG Shipyard for delivery delay.
