Two more capesize bulkers were sold for scrap recently, reports Clarkson Research Services.
Zodiac Maritime Agencies has reportedly disposed of the 149,513DWT Hadi (built 1990) while Ukraine's Tech Project having sold its 194,467DWT Cape M (built 1985) for demolition.
Clarkson reports around 11.5m DWT capesizes have been sent for scrap year-to-date and will reach 13.5m DWT for the entire year.
US-based Compass estimates capesizes and combination carriers of over 80,000 DWT class sent for scrap so far this year total around 78 ships.
