Chartworld has reportedly sold an 18-year-old capesize bulker for demolition.
The Greek shipowner is said to have disposed of the 163,000DWT Erradale Star (built 1994), according to GMS.
The capesize was scrapped for $420 per ldt, securing the owner around $9.5m.
Earlier in May the owner also sold the 181,000DWT bulker Amber Star (built 1986) to Bangladesh scrap yard for $490 per ldt or $11.3m.
