Hong Kong shipowner Tai Chong Cheang Steamship is reportedly in talks with Korean large shipyards to order aframax tankers.
Industry sources say the owner plans to order two aframaxes either at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering or Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Newbuilding brokers say the ships would cost around $40m based on the current market price.
