By the end of last month, CSSC subsidiary Hudong-Zhonghua has successfully won the bidding for the construction of six 174,000CBM LNG carriers from APLNG project management office held by China Shipping and Sinopec.
The 4+1+1 units order will be independently developed by the shipyard and are to be dual-fueled by LNG and electric power.
The newbuilds are scheduled to be delivered by 2015(one unit), 2016(two units) and 2017(three units).
