SMIT Lamnalco Contracts Damen for 3 Tugs at SMM
Yesterday, Damen Shipyards Group and Smit Lamnalco have signed a contract for two newly designed ASD Tugs 3212 and a Stan Tug 2208. The signing ceremony took place at the Damen stand at the SMM exhibition in Hamburg (Germany). The Stu 2208 will be delivered mid-September from the stock of Damen Shipyards Cape Town. The two ASD 3212s will be delivered in the first week of October and the early November by Damen Shipyards Galati. SMIT Lamnalco will use the vessels for contracts in Iraq and Sierra Leone.
