Greek shipowner is being linked to the resale of Mitsui’s new aframax tanker Hope I.
A buyer has reportedly paid around $36m for the 104,000-dwt vessel, delivered from Sumitomo Heavy Industries in Japan this month.
Brokers said the price marked a new low for aframax value, compared to a new 115,000-dwt ship changed hands for $52m last October.
