Brazil’s new Rio Tete shipyard has bagged an order for 20 coastal ethanol tankers from the compatriot Transpetro.
Brokers reported that details are scant, but the vessels are likely to be quite small given that the contract price is a mere $10.63 million each.
Rio Tete is a new shipyard that is scheduled to open next month.
