China’s Hantong Ship Heavy Industry has won an order for two panamax newbuildings from Korea’s HI Investment & Securities.
Brokers said the shipbuilder will bank around $26m each for the two 64,000-dwt bulkers.
The owner already has six 57,000-dwt supramaxes set for delivery from Hantong from this summer.
