Sanko Steamship, which filed for bankruptcy last week, has sold two platform supply vessel newbuildings, brokers say.
Swire Pacific Offshore is being linked with the purchase of the 4,850-dwt Sanko Festival and Sanko Flamingo.
Both of the vessels are at Universal Shipbuilding where Swire recently placed an order for six 3,700-dwt PSVs.
Clarksons values a new large PSV of 4,000-dwt at $46.5m today.
Sanko ordered four PSVs at Universal in 2008 in a deal which marked the yard’s entry into the offshore vessel market.
