Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding of China inks additional pair of 4,500-cbm ethylene carriers from a Dutch owner Anthony Veder.
Although it has not been revealed, the two newbuilding gas carriers, with a delivery during the first half of 2014, would cost in excess of $20m apiece, sources said.
Dingheng had signed up for four 6,500-cbm ethylene carriers in 2010, of which the last vessel having been added LNG capabilities.
