On September 15, No.3 2350TEU containership “Chekiang” built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Company Limited for the China Navigation Co. Pte. Ltd (NGPL) was delivered successfully from the production base in Longxue.

This series of boxship is an energy-saving and environmental-friendly vessel. It features 186m in length overall, 32.20m in width and 16.90m in depth with the design draft of 8.5m. Besides, it adopted a straight bow with a hanging rudder and ducted fan propeller.
