On September 10, the 6500 CUM ethylene tanker “Kun Shun” built by Marine Design and Research Institute of China (MARIC) was successfully delivered to Nanjing Tanker Corporation from China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.

With double cylindrical type C tanks, it is 113m in length overall, 18m in width. they operate up to the design pressure of 4.5 bar. The boiling point of this LNG tanker is -140 degree Celsius with cargo capacity of 6500 m3. Besides, it can carry a variety of liquefied gas and chemical gases such as ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane, and anhydrous ammonia.
