As the order-heat of mega containerships generally cool down with the growing overcapacity, some small containership type is still with potential enquiries currently.
Korean container line Namsung Shippping is reported to place an order for three 1,850-teu boxships at a compatriot shipyard.
The newbuilding boxships are said to operate in Southeast Asia routes, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.
The vessels are to be delivered by the first half of 2013 and would be the bigger than Namsung's existing largest vessel of 1,000-teu.
