Jinhai Heavy Industry sealed a newbuilding order for a 64K dwt bulker and another optional one with Greek owners on 26 November. This ship type is new for Jinhai.

The bulker, 199.9m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 18.5m in height and 11.3m in draft, is based on its Dolphin64 energy-efficient design.

Jinhai has recently developed and optimized 82k dwt and 180k dwt bulker, 320k dwt tanker and 2k dwt boxship to enhance its independent innovation.  

Thanks to its previous experiences of building large bulkers, the yard successfully finalize the new order with Greek owner and further strengthen its foundation for entrance to international market.
