Rolls-Royce Wins Order for Offshore Vessels

Global power systems company Rolls-Royce won a £10m order to design and equip two oil platform supply vessels for PaxOcean, a Singapore-based offshore company.
The vessels are to be built at PaxOcean Engineering's shipyard in Zhuhai, China. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first-half of 2013.
The two platform supply vessels will have an overall length of 78.7 metres, a 16 metre beam and a deck cargo area of 670 square metres. They will be built in accordance with clean design regulations and be equipped for fire fighting and oil recovery.
