Hyundai Heavy Industries swooped on an order for three very large crude carriers.
The South Korean shipbuilder has reportedly won a contract to build three 319,000-dwt VLCCs for compatriot shipowner SK Shipping.
Delivery is set for March-June 2013 but newbuilding price is yet to be revealed.
According to brokers, VLCC newbuilding price tag is currently around $99m.
Meanwhile, SK's VLCC order tally has now increased to nine.
