TSC Group secured a $29.2m contract for a 300-feet jack-up rig package from CIMC Raffles Shipyard. The contract includes an option for another similar jack-up rig package by the end of this year.
TSC Group will design, engineer and provide an integrated drilling rig package and power control package to CIMC Raffles Shipyard.
The rig is expected to be completed in the fourth-quarter of 2013.
The Friede and Goldman designed Super M2 jack-up drilling rig has a drilling depth of 30,000 feet and can operate under all weather conditions.
