Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry has held christening ceremonies for three merchant vessels in the last four days.

The shipbuilder held a naming ceremony for two 38,800dwt bulk carriers owned by Nord on Saturday, Jan. 7. The shipbuilder, however, failed to mention the names of the bulkers.

On Jan. 9, Jiangsu Hantong organized a naming and delivery ceremony for the 38,000dwt chemical stainless steel tanker built for Sinochem Shipping.

The tanker, named SC Gemini, is the third in a series of four vessels to be delivered to Sinochem Shipping.
