Mingsheng Shipping has inked newbuilding contracts with Chongqing Chuandong Shipyard for four car carriers.

The vessels are set for delivery by the end of 2017 and each will have a carrying capacity of 800 cars.

Mingsheng Shipping will deploy the four car carriers in domestic inland river market upon completion.
